Professor Murat Belge: Head of the department, his lessons are very enjoyable, however exams are pretty hard most of the time. He has a Phd. in English Literature from Istanbul University.

Professor Jale Parla: She teaches classes on novel and development of novel throughout centuries. She has BA degree in English Literature from Robert College, and Phd. in Comparative Literature from Harvard University.

Professor Nazan Aksoy: She instructs several lessons on drama, criticism, and development of literature. She has a Phd in English Language and Literature from Istanbul University

Lale Kula Özerden: She teaches on Mythology and Art. She has a MA degree in Contemporary Western Art from Mimar Sinan University

Richard Reid: He teaches History of Western Culture to students of other departments. He also has some classes in International Relations department. He has several degrees in Psychology, Education, and Journalism.

Rana Tekcan: She instructs development of poetry class and also calsses on Jane Austen and American literature. She has a MA in English Literature from Southern Illinois University.

Zeynep Altok: She teaches Text Analysis for first grades and also Translation for the second. She has BA degree in Western Languages and Literatures from Bogaziçi University.

Fulya Soytürk: She teaches Advanced English class for the first grade students.

Elif Safak: She teaches on Modernisation and Turkish Culture.

Bulent Somay: He instructs classes such as Speculative Fabulation, Psychoanalysis and Literature.
